 Terms and Conditions of Brown Paper Packaging |
Ordering
Minimum order within Australia and Zealand is $AU 100 (excluding gst). Delivery not included in prices. Delivery charges will be added at the
time of invoicing. All prices are ex works Melbourne.
Minimum
overseas orders is $AU 2,500. Delivery not included in price. Delivery
charges will be added at the time of invoicing. All prices are ex works
Melbourne.
All prices quoted are subject to change without notice. Any errors in
the website and or errors in the distribution of material is unintended
and subject to change without notification.
Orders
can be faxed, phoned or emailed through to our office. We can reply by
faxing or emailing your proforma invoice to you. Please ensure to check
all details listed are correct and advise our office of any required
changes prior to goods being despatched. The cover page lists all
methods of payment. Upon receipt of proof of payment made and funds
cleared in our bank, goods will are dispatched within 4-5 working days.
Backorders are sent with freight charged at 50% of the normal freight charge.

PaymentWe accept Visa, Mastercard, Electronic Funds Transfer, Direct Deposit and Cheque.
Goods are despatched on receipt of payment being cleared in our bank.
With EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) payments please include your invoice number as the reference.
Owners of dishonoured cheques will incurr a AUD$15 accounting fee plus gst
along with any other charges that the bank on forward to Brown Paper
Packaging.
Credit ApplicationsCredit Applications must be completed in full (with all appropriate areas
signed). A letter of acceptance
will be sent on approval. Trading terms offered may be either strictly
14 days or strictly 30 days nett from date of invoice and is subject to
Brown Paper Packaging choosing the most appropriate terms to allocate.
If an existing business / shop opwner opens another trading outlet then
a separate credit application is required for each outlet even if
operating under the same trading name and even if owned by the same
owner.
We DO NOT issue monthly statements.
All goods remain the property of Brown Paper Packaging Pty Ltd until
payment is received in full.
Accounts
that are continously overdue plus accounts that have been inactive
over two years may be suspended or closed at the discretion of Brown
Paper Packaging.
Any change in business ownership will
automatically close an account. New owners will be placed on proforma
(and remain on proforma) until and new credit application is completed
and approved by Brown Paper Packaging.
Ownership
All goods remain the property of Brown Paper Packaging Pty Ltd until
payment is received in full. Should a customer default on payment of
goods already delivered / collected or any other monies owing - Brown
Paper Packaging retains the right of its employees and or agent to
enter the premises where goods may be stored to repossess the goods.top 
Delivery
All deliveries must be signed for at time of receiving the parcel(s).
All delivery connotes state the number of parcels you are to receive.
Please ensure all parcels are delivered before sining the connote. Any
missing or damaged parcel(s) must be marked on the connote.
Should
delivery be made and nobody is available to receive the goods resulting
in the freight company choosing to redeliver the goods at a later date,
then any extra delivery charges that Brown Paper Packaging incurs will be on forwarded to you, the buyer. Please refer to FAQ #13
If you require your order(s) delivered to a home address, please advise
our office at the time of placing your order, so instructions can be
added to your delivery labels. In addition, if your property (home or
shop) is unattended and there is nobody available to accept the
delivery, you must be prepared to potentially have your parcel left at
the door and be aware that alternatively, at the discretion of the
delivery driver not being able to access the property and/or not be in
a position to leave the parcel on your property, they will have to
return the goods to our office, and you are likely to incur extra
delivery charges. Also all deliveries must be signed for at time of
receiving the parcel(s).
Should
the goods not be signed for on receipt of delivery then Brown Paper
Packaging nor the freight company will accept responsibility for
damage, loss or missing parcels.
Returns
All claims must be notified within 7 days of receipt of goods. All
goods returned including goods ordered incorrectly are subject to
a 25% restocking fee. Any items returned must be in original
condition. Any goods accepted for return must be unused and in good
re-saleable condition. The cost of returning goods is at the expense of
the buyer as is the cost of delivering new revised / new order. Goods sold as stock clearance or on sale will not be accepted for return. Claims for short deliveries and or damaged goods must be made within 48
hours of receipt of goods. It is imperative that any missing or damaged
parcels be noted on the delivery docket so delivery company is also
advised in writing at time of delivery. Upon final sighting by Brown Paper Packaging and condition of goods returned final return arrangements will be made. top 
Cancellation of goods
Any proforma order for standard product lines can be cancelled. The
company appreciates notification as soon as possible should you not
choose to proceed with the order. However should you the buyer and
Brown Paper Packaging have entered into an arrangement to have stock
specially ordered and / or made then Brown Paper Packaging is entitled
to have all costs incurred, reimbursed and any stock purchased for the
job to be reimbursed.

personal information held on our database for any purpose unrelated to

correspondence to you in various forms, regarding offers and various
